PROJECT TIMELINE

WEEK 1: Research the current state of the art of static analysis methods for android applications

WEEK 2: Install Soot and FlowDroid and become familiar with their operation; continue to research static analysis methods and current approaches to dealing with string information

​

WEEK 3:  Experiment with FlowDroid and identify possible problem areas and potential modifications

​

WEEKS 4-6: Design and implement a new method to process string information in FlowDroid

​

WEEKS 7-9: Test new method on a suite of programs to evaluate its efficacy

​

WEEK 9-10: Document final results
